Charlie stays until the end of the season
Oxford United have completed the extension of defender Charlie Raglan’s loan from Chesterfield until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old centre-back has made ten appearances for the U’s since arriving on loan and the new extension includes FA Cup games, making him eligible for the trip to Rotherham on Saturday.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“We are very pleased to have got everything sorted nice and quickly and having Charlie available for the cup is a bonus. He has done well for us, fits in well and means we have real competition for the defensive positions in the second half of the season”
Charlie said:
“I have enjoyed my time here. It’s a good club, the players, management and fans have been great with me and I’m more than happy to stay, fight for my place and play a part in what I’m sure is going to continue to be a very exciting season.”
