Joining Norwich City as a youth, Josh spent five years at Carrow Road, including loan spells at Wigan Athletic and MK Dons (where he was managed by Karl Robinson and where he was named Players’ Player of the Season for 2015/16). He moved to Cardiff in 2018 for a fee believed to be around £11 million, signing a four-year deal. Josh joined Oxford on the expiry of his contract in July 2022.
