Right-back currently on loan from Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has played most of his football on the right side of defence, either as a full-back or wing-back but can also operate in midfield or as a left-back.
Since signing as a professional at Stamford Bridge he has had loan spells at Preston North End, Blackburn, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest as well as spells with NEC Nijmegen and FC Groningen in the Netherlands.
The former England under 19 international has also previously been called up for the England under 21 squad and joined the U's on Transfer Window Deadline Day in January 2018.
