A centre back, Aaron began his career with Eastleigh before joining Southampton in 2009. He won promotion to the Championship with the Saints in 2011 and was also with the club as they were promoted to the Premier League the following season. He went on loan to Crystal Palace until January 2013, when he was again loaned out, this time to Coventry.
In January 2014 Aaron joined Birmingham City until the end of the season, when he signed for Yeovil Town. He moved to Coventry on loan from the Glovers in October 2014, signing for the Sky Blues in January 2015. He signed for Oxford in June 2016 but an injury against Macclesfield in the FA Cup in December prematurely ended his season.
