Isinglass continue to support the U's
Isinglass Consulting have backed Oxford United again, after signing a three year extension to its support of the Community Trust.
The five figure grant will help the Trust deliver extensive sports participation programmes across the county.
Isinglass, a Community Founding Partner of the Trust, shares the same passion as the club for grassroots football.
Co-founder, Paul Charles, said:
"Through our work with Oxford United and Stonesfield Strikers, we have seen first hand the huge difference community engagement through the power of sport makes to so many youngsters.
"The Oxford United Community Trust delivers superb sports participation programmes and it is important this vital work gets better and better. The Trust and the club share our passion and vision to continue to keep the community the heart of what we do and it was on this basis that we have pledged to extend our commitment."
Isinglass Consulting, of Stonesfield, Oxfordshire, specialise in helping businesses on pension, administration and reward matters. Paul helped set up Stonesfield Strikers Youth FC. The club is a focal point for the community and was recognised as FA Charter Standard Club of the Year 2013. It welcomes boys and girls who want to get into football, no matter what their ability, catering for ages 6 to 18.
Head of the Trust Kate Longworth, said: "We work with several grassroots clubs across the county, but we want to do more to help the fantastic body of volunteers who keep those clubs going. We also want to broaden our offering of community-led sports and fitness activities for all ages. This grant from Isinglass will help us do that. We couldn’t be more grateful to Paul and everyone at the firm.”
Managing Director, Greig Box Turnbull, added: "Isinglass have been fantastic supporters of both the club and the Trust for a number of years and the partnership continues to go from strength to strength. It is based on a shared passion and shared ambition to deliver first class sports participation in Oxfordshire.
"The generous backing of Isinglass will help us continue to make a difference in the community."
