The new look official website goes from strength to strength and for the first time in many years offers online advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

The new site is attracting lots more viewers since being relaunched three weeks ago and whether it is on a desktop, tablet or phone, the new site adjusts and brings you all the news, as well as video via our new iFollow service.

As Chris Williams, the club’s Communications Manager, explains, there are plenty of ways that companies and businesses can get involved online.

“The previous version of the website was very restrictive in terms of the exposure we could give to companies. That was one of the things that clubs wanted to address when we redesigned the sites.

“The new site is very flexible. For example, you can sponsor a Player Profile and have your name and logo on that player’s profile page, then it also features when there is a specific news story or interview with that player.

“Companies might want to be online sponsors for a match - their links can appear in the previews, reports and live match coverage and also on the pre and post match video interviews in iFollow, as well as on social media.

“There are blocks and spaces available on the home page and news pages as well as the opportunity to become website sponsor or to sponsor certain sections- youth team, community, history and so on.

“Behind the scenes we have a new analytics tool so we can track which pages and adverts are working, and that will allow us to help businesses choose the right package for them.”
