OUitC’s holiday courses are a great, fun-filled way for young people to get involved in football and spend time learning new skills over the school holidays.
Our holiday courses generally run from Monday to Friday (except bank holidays) from 9am to 3pm. The day will usually consist of a warm up, activities based around particular skills (passing, turning, dribbling, shooting, etc.) and ‘mini matches’ in the afternoon. Sessions are suitable for boys and girls of all abilities from 5 to 13 years of age.
Where available, courses involve player visits from the men’s and women’s first teams, and each child will receive a complimentary ticket to watch Oxford United play and a certificate of achievement.
What to bring on the day:
• Football kit
• Shin pads
• Football boots and trainers
• Packed lunch
• Plenty to drink
As with all Oxford United coaching, our courses aim to develop respect, sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork, as well as good fun! All our coaches are FA qualified to Level 2, with up-to-date safeguarding and first-aid training and DBS checks.
Details of all forthcoming holiday courses will be available here and will be advertised via our mailing list.
