Beat The Bookies

Posted on: Thu 29 Apr 2010

United play out the first of two crucial games this evening as they travel to Rushden & Diamonds for the First Leg of the Blue Square Premier Play-Off Semi-Finals, and with the U's seemingly being tagged as the underdogs there may never have been a better time to try your hand at beating the bookies.

Bet365 are currently offering odds of 23/10 that United take a winning advantage into Bank Holiday Monday's home Second Leg, with the draw available at 11/5. Given that United have not lost to Rushden home or away since November 2007, you may also be tempted by an 8/13 Double Chance - meaning that as long as United don't lose over ninety minutes you're quids in.

In the Half-time/Full-time market you can pick up incredible odds of 6/1 on United to go into the break on level terms before running out eventual winners, while you can pick up an equally generous 5/1 on the U's to find themselves in the lead come both the half-time and full-time whistles.

James Constable and Jack Midson are currently available at 11/2 and 15/2 respectably to open the scoring, though the best value bet may be found in the Scorecast market as you can back Constable to score the only goal in a 1-0 United win at a mammoth 35/1.

In total there are twenty-nine different markets available for this match, so why not see if you can beat the bookies tonight?
