Beat the bookies

Posted on: Tue 23 Feb 2010

On Friday afternoon we brought you just some of the odds available on United's FA Trophy clash with Kidderminster and, although the result didn't go the Yellows' way come Saturday, we're hoping to help put a smile back on your face this evening courtesy of our partners at Bet365.

Bet365 are currently offering odds of 17/20 that the U's can come out on top against AFC Wimbledon in tonight's Blue Square Premier fixture. With several United regulars not taking part at the weekend and the visitors earning a hard-fought victory at Luton it's sure to be a close encounter, with the draw currently available at 5/2 for those who have no idea which way the game may go.

We're personally tempted by the odds of 7/1 that United end up 2-1 winners on the night, or alternatively you can get 19/20 on the game resulting in more than 2.5 goals regardless of which way they go.

In the goalscoring market John Grant is 6/1 to score the first goal of the game on his debut or 15/8 to score at any time, while you can back Sam Deering to find the back of the net at 7/2 any time.
