Alfie first came to fame with a goal for Havant and Waterlooville against Liverpool at Anfield as the Conference South side took a shock 2-1 lead before losing 5-2. That appearance came on loan from Peterborough, and was followed by a brief loan at AFC Wimbledon and then a season long loan at Kettering last season where he made 29 league starts including both games against The U's. A tricky winger with bags of pace, Alfie joined on a season long loan in July 2009.
