Luke is a versatile defender who impressed everyone after joining from Stalybridge Celtic in February 2007. The former Sheffield Wednesday and Lincoln defender suffered heartbreak when a fracture suffered at York in the last game of the season ruled him out of the play-off semi-finals. Able to play at centre half, full back or in midfield, Luke looks to have a very bright future and was Supporters Player of the year in 2007/8 and continued that form in 08/09.
