Oxford United are pleased to announce an exciting appointment in the Ticket Office and Marketing Department
Matt Everett will start as the club'sTicket Sales & Online Marketing Manager.
Loughborough graduate Matt helped the Commercial Department at the Manor while still a schoolboy, and wrote for the matchday programme,but then hit the Premier League when he joined Arsenal's ticketing department ready for the opening of the Emirates Stadium, part of a team that relocated all season ticket holders and sold further season tickets from their waiting list. Matt was also involved in the opening of that stadium logistically.
Matt then gained more experience working on ticketing and database marketing for Sale Sharks Rugby Club for two years, and in commercial sales for one year and most recently has been responsible for database and supporter growth and management at Stoke City FC as they have established themselves in the Premier League - including marketing campaigns across the database and all club products and departments.
Matt has also been responsible for online marketing - including e-mail communications and the growth of online ticketing and retail sales, a role he will look to continue with The U's
Matt said
"I am extremely passionate about the future of Oxford United Football Club, and with the recent promotion back into the Football League now is the chance for the club to really push on and increase the already fantastic support base that we all know about. It is a great time to be joining the club, and hopefully my experience and ideas will benefit the growth and development of the club going forward."
