United pair drop in..

Posted on: Mon 20 Sep 2010

Chairman Kelvin Thomas and manager Chris Wilder  helped the Oxford Children's Hospital yesterday by abseiling from the roof of the John Radcliffe hospital.

The Children's Hospital is United's chosen charity and the club has always backed the hospital, participating in the 10krun at Blenheim Palace, visiting patients and staff at Christmas, and raising funds for this brilliant cause whenever possible.

The pair abseiled 100ft from the roof of the hospital and have so far raised more than a thousand pounds - a fantastic amount for a worthy cause.

It is not too late to help and donations are still possible. It is extremely simple: just visit www.justgiving.com/OxfordUnited to pledge your support. It doesn't matter how big or how small your donation is: every penny will help.
