No Surprises For Wycombe

Posted on: Thu 19 Aug 2010

United boss Chris Wilder says that there will almost certainly be no changes to his side as the U's travel to Wycombe this weekend.

So far the manager has fielded the same starting eleven in all three of his side's competitive matches and, barring any bumps or bruises, admits that the situation is unlikely to change against Gary Waddock's men on Saturday.

"I don't think that there are going to be any changes unless something happens in the next two days," Wilder told Yellow Player this morning. "I don't think there are any secrets on that front. The players have done great over the past three games and we just need to step it up a touch in terms of getting the right result that reflects a correct performance.

"We're going to have to play well, we understand that, and if we do then we give ourselves a chance of winning the game. The standards have been set and we need to maintain those standards if we're going to pick up results."
