Oxford United are pleased to announce a pre-season friendly against Leicester City.
The U's will welcome the Foxes on Saturday 24th July, taking on Nigel Pearson's Championship side in the first home pre-season game of the summer.
That will be followed by the visit of a Manchester United XI on Tuesday 27th July as Chris Wilder's squad gear up for their return to the Football League.
The emphasis will be on Youth development on Saturday 31st July when we hold a Youth Development Benefit game, with United's stars of the past including the likes of Paul Moody and Joey Beauchamp take on a Celebrity XI at the Kassam Stadium. This game has now been moved to 31st July rather than the original date of 9th July to allow the pitch the best possible growing time ahead of the season.
The whole pre-season kicks off with the Oxford United Open Day on Saturday July 3rd, which is always fun for all the family. Full details to come on all of the events being held that day.
Ticket prices, including a special deal for those attending both home games, will be announced early next week.
