Season Tickets for 2010/11 are setting new records.
United always enjoy great support and on this day last year had sold an impressive 2,740 season tickets. The drama of Wembley and such a memorable season has sent those figures through the roof. The total number of season tickets sold for 2010/11 currently stands at over 3,400 and rising.
That figure is even more impressive when you note that 700 season ticket holders have still to renew their seats. Most are expected to renew before July 2nd, taking advantage of the discount prices available.
There are significant savings to be made on season tickets booked before that time as Ticket Office Supervisor Dawn Wyllie said:
"It has been a fantastic response from the fans after we got back into the League. 1,200 of them took up the chance to book at last season's price in April, then last week was as busy as I can remember with people booking tickets ahead of the earlybird discount deadline. We now have a short period of time where tickets are available at a discount rate and that should be busy again.
"Looking at the figures you can see that we are already 700 supporters up on last year and those are new fans because there are still around another 700 from last season who haven't booked yet. "It is a busy time but very exciting and more bookings come in every day."
Season tickets are available by phone on 01865 337533, online 24/7 at www.oufctickets.co.uk or visit in person Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 5.30pm where our friendly ticket office staff will be happy to show you available seats.
All season ticket holders renewing online received a postcard with next season's details. To activate your online account just enter your surname and fan number - found on the postcard under your address. Call 01865 337533 if you have forgotten your fan number.
Fans renewing by post should note that no forms were sent out this year due to the new phone and online services. If you wish to renew by post please send a cheque and a note of your name and seat number to The Ticket Office, Oxford United, Grenoble Road, Oxford, OX4 4XP.
You can also really help the club when booking in doing so by cash, cheque or debit card rather than a credit card.
