United will be without winger Alfie Potter for 4-6 weeks, but have been simultaneously boosted by the progress of skipper Adam Murray.
Potter limped off seconds before being substituted during last Saturday's victory over Histon, and a scan has revealed a tear to his hamstring that is set to keep him out for at least the next month.
However the news regarding central midfielder Murray was more positive, with the Yellows receiving news that he is set to return to training within the next ten days after learning that he will not require an operation following a back spasm.
Said manager Chris Wilder:
"Alfie is out for between four and six weeks which is a blow. He's been really unfortunate and it knocks us down on an attacking front, but the good news regarding Adam Murray is that he doesn't require an operation. He's had an injection in his back which will speed everything up and we're looking for him to get back into training possibly in ten days time."
