Young striker Aaron Woodley could feature on the bench for the first time as United travel to Gateshead on Saturday.

The sixteen year old forward from Abingdon has impressed in the under 18 side this season where he is top scorer, and fans will have spotted him in the warm up at the last few games as he has been training and involved with the first team since scoring four goals in an FA Youth Cup game.

With Alfie Potter struggling with a virus, Kevin Sandwith a doubt with an ankle injury and Marcus Kelly out with a toe problem Woodley may step up to the bench.

There was good news from the training ground this morning where Adam Murray was fit and in full training despite a heavy challenge at Mansfield on Tuesday night. The U's skipper is fit to continue and United report no other new  injury concerns before they travel north tomorrow.
