Posted on: Thu 28 May 2009

Oxford United are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Sheffield United for the transfer of Adam Chapman.

Adam was a key player for Oxford last year playing twenty times and scoring a memorable free-kick against Burton. His performances and versatility culminated with Adam winning the Junior Player of the Year.

Adam will travel to Oxford tomorrow to complete the paperwork before the Youth Development Benefit Match.

You can help develop the next wave of stars. Come along on Friday and support the Benefit game as the United Stars of the past take on a Celebrity XI.

Instead of a normal match programme, there will be a four page supplement for this match which will be available on the night. This match supplement will be inserted into the Oxford Mail and will be available for thirty pence instead of the normal cover price of thirty-eight pence. The Oxford Mail have kindly agreed to donate twenty-five pence for each copy of the Oxford Mail sold at the match on Friday, straight to the Youth Development Fund.
