United have further strengthened their squad withthe signings of Dannie Bulman from Crawley Town and Alex Rhodes from Rotherham

Dannie is a30 year old midfielder who will add experience in the centre of the park. Dannie made his name at Wycombe Wanderers, making over 200 appearances for the Chairboys and playing his part in their run to the FA Cup semi final against Liverpool in 2001.

In 2004 Dannie joined Stevenage Borough, making just over 80 starts in three seasons before joining Crawley, initially on loan and then permanently, making over 100 starts for them.

27 year old Alex is a very fast and direct left winger who began his professional career at Brentford after starting at Newmarket, where he caught national attention with three hat-tricks in successive games. His most notable goal for Brentford was the one that kept them up in 2005. Short loan spells at Swindon and Grays followed before a permanent move to Bradford in 2007, where he scored three times in eleven starts. Last season he was a regular at Rotherham in the first half of the season before joining Woking on loan.

Boss Chris Wilder is delighted with both captures:

"Dannie is someone who knows the league and is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in it. He is a great character and exactly what we need in the middle of the park.

"Alex will give us natural balance, pace, and options on the left. I have kept track of his career for the last two years and he is an exciting player to watch. He will give us that attacking width on the left"
