James Constable today completed the paperwork on his transfer to The U's from Shrewsbury Town. An undisclosed fee was involved.

James joins on a three year deal and was pleased to have it all tied up:

"I have enjoyed my football this season and am looking forward to the future here with Oxford. The fans have been great, we have genuine hopes for next season and having got the paperwork done I can now go away over the summer, recharge the batteries then come back ready to go for pre-season."
