Billy Turley took his first steps back today as he returned to the training pitch.

Billy has been on the sidelines since an operation on his shoulder in the summer, but after seeing a specialist yesterday was straight out to work with his mentor Alan Hodgkinson today. Billy told us:

"The specialist was pleased with the progress. I'm determined to make him tear up his books and make a comeback in record time! I only went through a few light things with Hodgy today, nothing too strenuous, but it felt good to be back. It was cold, it was pouring with rain, and I loved every minute of it."
