Defeat at Kidderminster last Saturday hurt big Mark Creighton more than most as it is the club that gave him his big break, and a place that he was desperate to do well at on his first return. The big centre half is not one to brood on that game though, preferring instead to look forward to putting things right against Barrow:
"It was probably the worst game to lose all season but credit to Kidderminster because they deserved to win the game. It was made worse because everyone was so nice to me at the club! There was a tiny bit of booing but you kind of expect that when you go back to an old club, and the vast majority gave me a great reception and people wanted to have a chat after the game and things like that.
"I went on the bus back to where we had had a pre-match meal and it was a bit quiet, but we were still talking and no one was moping about. If you lose three or four on the bounce then things are getting a bit nervous, but that was one game of football. We deserved to lose but you take it on the chin and move on. Roll on Saturday."
United have the ideal opportunity to bounce straight as they welcome Barrow on Saturday and Mark expects a positive reaction from The U's:
"Of course, and there is never a good time to play us here either. Barrow will be worried because there could be a big backlash on Saturday. Hopefully."
Mark believes that United are still in a very strong position:
"It is not the end of the world but everyone seems to think it is! I think you need to put it into perspective; we have lost two games all season and have played twenty odd games so in my eyes that's not too bad. We are still top of the league and we have a home game on Saturday to put it right!
