Oxford United season tickets are on sale now offering supporters the chance to secure their own seat for what promises to be an exciting season in Sky Bet L1 as we enter a ‘New Era’.

Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of the club, loyally supporting the team through the ups and downs of football.

For the first time in 15years, we are in the third tier of English football and, having significantly reduced season ticket prices for last season, we have reviewed prices against our L1 and L2 competitors. 

Last season, our prices were below the average for L2 and hopefully supporters felt rewarded by a magnificent season characterised by outstanding football under Michael Appleton's leadership.

In setting the prices for the coming season, we wanted to ensure that our season tickets continue to represent excellent value for money whilst also ensuring we are competitive versus the rest of League 1 and, hence, the new prices reflect remain great value for money.

Overall, we are well below the average of all season ticket prices in League 1 despite our aspiration to be challenging at the upper end of the table.

Additionally, having listened to fans’ feedback we have introduced a ‘Young Persons’ season ticket, which is one of the cheapest offerings in this category in L1. It replaces our Student category and extends the offer to all supporters in the 18 to 21 age bracket and students in full time education. 

The popular #OX4Life season ticket for Under 13’s, which includes a free home shirt, remains and additionally the Family Stand is moving to the North Stand to increase the capacity for families and to help provide better access to facilities for match-day activities, as part of our commitment to families and youngsters. The Under 7 season ticket remains free for families who opt to sit in the Family Stand and in many areas of the stadium prices for Under 18 season tickets have been reduced.

Executive Chairman Darryl Eales said: “We have sought to strike the right balance between affordability and value for money with being competitive for League 1.

“We reduced prices significantly last season and prices have remained relatively static stretching back to our time in the Conference. 

“However, we believe, having invested in the squad over two years and having achieved promotion, that it is appropriate to implement an increase and I hope supporters understand. 

“On average, prices are now only around 5% higher than those prices fans paid 2 years ago and despite the increases, we are still significantly cheaper than the majority of clubs in League 1, most notably local rivals, Swindon and Bristol Rovers. 

“We remain committed to becoming a true community club and building on our L2 Family Club of the Year accolade. We have decided to move the Family Stand to enable us to take our family offering to the next level and, allied to this, we have introduced a Young Persons season ticket and reduced prices for U18’s in a number of sections of the stadium.”

Log on to www.oufctickets.co.uk to renew using your fan number, which is on your season ticket card.

This offer is for under 13s and includes a season ticket plus a home shirt. You will be contacted for shirt size in due course

Over 65s-               age discount applies at start of season and will not be reduced pro rata should the season ticket holder turn 65 during the season.

Young Person          aged 18-21, or full time student. Proof of age or student ID will be required on matchdays

Under 7s                 must be under 7 at the start of the season.

Wheelchair and ambulant disabled supporters pay the Over 65 prices as above in each area with a personal assistant free. Season tickets can only be purchased by phone (01865 337533) and proof must be provided of medium to high rate DLA.

The Family Area will be relocating to blocks 22 and 23 of the North Stand to allow more space and provide greater facilities. Existing season ticket holders in the Family Area are welcome to view possible new seats (see below). 2016/17 Under 7 season tickets will not be able to be upgraded to any other price category in this area.

Fans wishing to purchase a new season ticket or relocate to a new area of the ground are able to visit the Kassam Stadium during usual office hours (9.30am to 5.30pm) to view available seats.  Please ask at the ticket office windows.

Lounge, Executive Box and other hospitality packages will be on sale very soon. The club are in discussions with Firoka over the pricing and service of these products. Further news will appear at the earliest opportunity.
