Wear your colours for Retro Day as Oxford United welcome Yeovil Town
This Saturday’s home game against Yeovil Town has been designated as a fans’ retro day at Oxford United.
The U’s welcome the Glovers to the Kassam Stadium in Sky Bet League 2 and the we want as many supporters as possible to come along and support the U’s in their finest Oxford United colours.
The day is intended to support the team and celebrate United’s rich history – by wearing old shirts, hats and scarves, or retro designer clothes.
It follows the success of the first retro day held on the final day of last season at Newport County and supports the club’s #proudhistorybrightfuture campaign.
Even if you cannot attend the game you can get involved via Twitter and tweet your finest United vintage clobber on the day, with the hashtag #retroufc.
From Wang, to Pergamon Press shirts, to bucket hats, to Wembley scarves, to Kicker shoes, to Lacoste and Sergio Santini, it’s all about the retro and the Yellow and the Blue.
