Pre-season starts to take shape
Oxford United are pleased to announce four pre-season games in the build up to the 2015/16 season.
The U’s will kick off pre-season with a game at Didcot Town on Saturday 11th July. On Tuesday 21st July they travel to Woking and on Saturday 25th July the U’s will play away at Eastleigh.
United will then return to the Kassam Stadium for a final pre-season game against Coventry City of Sky Bet League 1 on Saturday August 1st.
The Didcot game allows United to start their matches locally, while Woking and Eastleigh were both play-off contenders in the Vanarama Conference last season. U’s fans will need no reminding that former U’s players Brian Howard, Craig McAllister, Yemi Odubade, Jack Midson and James Constable are all currently part of the Eastleigh squad.
There is then a chance for the new-look U’s to show what they can do at home when they welcome a Coventry side that left it late before guaranteeing survival in Sky Bet League 1 last time around.
Further games are being finalised and will be announced as soon as full details are confirmed.
