Northampton too strong for United's youngsters
On Saturday, United’s under-18s went down 3-0 at home to Northampton in the Merit League 2.Coach Leon Blackmore-Such told us:
“This was a leaden performance from the players and there was no real quality on show. Only Rob Cundy and Charlie Hawtin could feel pleased with their game.
“We created few chances although we had a lot of possession, especially in the first half which ended goalless. In the end individual errors cost us but credit to Northampton who stepped up in the second half and took advantage.”
