Minute's silence before Wimbledon game
The thoughts of everyone at Oxford United are with James Roberts and his family after the tragic death of his brother Ben at the weekend.
Ben, 16, died in a car accident in Weston Turville on Saturday night.
The club offers it sincerest condolences to the Roberts family and will hold a minute’s silence before the game at home to Wimbledon on Saturday.
Both Oxford United and Chester, where he is currently on loan, will allow James as much time as he feels he needs before he returns to playing football.
The two clubs would also ask all supporters and media to respect the Roberts family’s right to privacy at this very difficult time.
