Oxford United can confirm that Chey Dunkley has admitted breaching The FA’s Anti-Doping regulations after testing positive for salbutamol after using an inhaler prescribed for his asthma.The FA agreed that there was no intention to enhance his sporting performance. He was issued with a warning and reprimand, and will be subject to target testing for a period of two years.
Chey suffers from asthma and was not aware of the restriction on salbutamol use. As a club, we accept the FA ruling.
