Get Well Soon Lewis
United’s youth team midfielder Lewis Hayden is likely to miss the rest of the season after a car accident yesterday.
Lewis, who captains the under 18 side, was driving home from training yesterday afternoon when the accident occurred and he was taken to hospital for treatment. He is currently in a neck brace but able to walk around the ward and Youth Team Coach Chris Allen joined everyone at the club in wishing Lewis a swift recovery.
“It was just one of those things that can happen to anyone. We’ve been talking to him today and he seems OK . Thankfully Lewis walked away from what was a pretty serious accident and although he is in hospital the early signs are good and we wish him well."
