Manager and Winger on short lists for national awards
Manager Chris Wilder and winger Sean Rigg have both been nominated for npower League 2 awards for December.
Having gone through December unbeaten and finished the month with three straight wins Chris is nominated for the third time this season for the npower League 2 Manager of the Month. The other two nominees are Gareth Ainsworth of Wycombe Wanderers and Gary Rowett of Burton Albion.
Sean was in fine form throughout the month and is one of three nominations for the npower League 2 Player of the Month Award, along with Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Scott Davies and Rochdale striker Ashley Grimes
The winners will be announced on SKY Sports on Friday morning.
