We look ahead to tonight's FA Cup third round tie at Charlton Athletic.

TEAM NEWS

United welcome back Dave Kitson after suspension but new loan signing Nicky Wroe is ineligible in the FA Cup. Josh Ruffels and Scott Davies compete for the slot vacated by Wroe while Manager Chris Wilder told Yellow Player that he may take the chance to look at young striker Ty Marsh:

THE OPPOSITION

With covers on and better weather today the game will be played after two previous attempts were thwarted.

Charlton brought in keeper Yohann Thuram-Ulien from Standard Liege yesterday but he will be ineligible as he was not signed before the original date. Striker Marvin Sordell is out with a hamstring injury and full-back Lawrie Wilson is also a doubt while centre-half Leon Cort is still out with a knee injury. Forward Michael Smith, who is back from a successful loan spell with AFC Wimbledon, is cup-tied.
