PREVIEW: Bolton Wanderers v Oxford United

Oxford United head for the Macron Stadium tomorrow to take on Bolton Wanderers in EFL League 1 looking to bounce back from Tuesday's defeat at Southend.

Ryan Ledson limped off during the warm-up at Roots Hall on Tuesday evening and an MRI scan revealed that he tore the cartilage in his right knee, meaning he will be out for up to six weeks.
Defender Curtis Nelson is back in training this week, but won't be ready for the trip to Bolton, while both Rob Hall and Christian Ribeiro continue their march to fitness. Ledson aside, United have no new injury worries after Tuesday.

Southend went down 1-0 at Rochdale on Tuesday, the third consecutive game that the Trotters have failed to score in, but defender Mark Beevers feels that things are about to change: “For me, what I’ve learned down the years is that if you’re creating chances then eventually they will end up in the back of the net,” he told The Bolton News. “If you are making opportunities – as we are – then I don’t see it as an issue that is going to bother you for very long.

“We don’t go into any game thinking ‘we’re going to turn them over’ because you have to earn your right to do anything in football. You won’t win games unless you have the right attitude,” he said. "Oxford are no different than any other opponent in this division. We treat them with respect.”
