Scottish striker comes back to the Kassam Stadium
Oxford United are pleased to announce the signing of forward Chris Maguire.
The Scottish international enjoyed a successful loan spell with the U’s earlier in the season and was today released by Rotherham United. The U’s were happy to offer Chris a contract until the end of the season.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“It’s an excellent signing for us. Chris has played all of his football at a higher level and I think the Oxford fans could see the quality he possesses when he came here in December. He had a positive impact here on loan and I’m sure will do so again now the move is permanent.”
Chris said:
“I enjoyed my time here and am very happy to have signed. There is a real buzz about the club right now and I am looking forward to being part of it once more.”
